The AV Hall is a multipurpose space with a large screen, on which a 14-minute video presentation titled "Advertising - Mirror of Society," is usually being shown. This film is an easy-to-understand explanation of the history of advertising from the 18th-century Edo period when advertising activities similar to present day advertising took place, through modern times. It demonstrates how advertisements developed in close affinity to social conditions, people's lifestyles and the progress of the media.
* Presentation in English, Chinese or Korean is available upon request (subject to advance confirmation). |
