Group Tour Reservations
Ad Museum Tokyo offers free tour programs for groups and organizations. Advance registration is required to use these programs.
Please see the important reminders below and make a reservation for the course of your choice.
About Reservations
- Reservations are accepted from 7 days prior to the tour date.
- Reservations can only be made online.
- After completing your reservation, you cannot change its details. If required, cancel your original reservation and make a new one.
Important Reminders
- If you wish to cancel your reservation, please do so at least one day in advance.If you have to cancel your reservation on the day of the tour, please be sure to contact us at 03-6218-2500 (12:00 - 18:00)
- After entering the museum on the day of the tour, please come to the lounge at the back of the shop on BF2.
- Please understand that your tour may be cancelled if you arrive later than your reservation time.
Course A ［Self-guided group tour］
- Audience: Group visitors
- Course overview: A museum guide will present an overview of the facility and the exhibition highlights. After that, you will be free to explore the museum.

12:00／13:00／14:00／15:00／16:00 - Duration: Approx. 15 minutes (excluding self-guided tour)
- Number of visitors: Up to 50 people
- Meeting place: B2F Lounge (at the back of the shop)
- Participation fee: Free
- Reservations: Online reservations only
Course B ［General tours, including school field trips, training, etc.］
- Audience: Group visitors
- Course overview: A museum guide will escort you through the museum and briefly introduce the exhibition highlights of Edo-period.

- Number of visitors: Up to 10 people

- Q:Can I take photos?
- A:Yes, but only for personal use. However, taking video and the use of a tripod or selfie stick when taking photos are prohibited.
- Q:Can I check my bags at the museum?

A:No, we do not have a bag check.

- Q:Are tours available in a language other than Japanese?

A:Course A and Course B are available in English.
※We do not provide interpretation services.
- Q:Is there a parking lot for large buses?
- A:No, we do not have a parking lot for large buses. Please see the Caretta Shiodome website for information on parking (paid) for regular automobiles.
- Q:Can I make a tour reservation by phone?
- A:We do not accept reservations by phone. Please use the Ad Museum Tokyo website to make your reservation.
- Q:Is there a fee for the tour?
- A:Tours are free of charge.
- Q:Can elementary school students take a tour by themselves?
- A:Yes, if the consent of a parent or guardian has been obtained.
- Q:Is a reservation required for a self-guided (group) tour?
- A:For group tours of 20 people or more, please make a reservation.
- Q:Is it possible to tour the museum in a wheelchair?
- A:Yes, you can. There are stairs in the museum, so please use the Caretta Shiodome elevators when moving from one floor to another.
